(A graduate of the University of West Georgia, Kim holds a degree in accounting.) Originally from Boston, Cheryl moved to Atlanta in 2009 when her husband was promoted and transferred. Classically trained as a professional ballerina, she was a senior soloist for the Cincinnati Ballet Company. A stress fracture in her fibula while dancing required physical therapy, which included Pilates. She fell in love with the technique—so much that she wanted others to experience the same joy and wonder of Pilates.

After retiring in 2019 from a 32-year Insurance career in sales, marketing and corporate management, Janice immediately began working on her “second act” which she knew would include her love for Pilates. Her lifelong commitment to physical fitness and desire to continue doing meaningful work, made her decision to become a certified Pilates instructor an easy decision to make.
